Serves: 18
  • 1 c. sugar
  • ½ c. butter
  • 2 eggs
  • 3 bananas
  • 3 T. sour milk (little apple cider vinegar added to milk)
  • 2 c. flour
  • 1 t. soda
  1. Combine sugar and butter, add eggs, then bananas and sour milk. Mix in flour and soda, just until combined. Pour into a greased bread pan, run a butter knife down the middle, and bake at 350 degrees for about 45 to 50 minutes. Check doneness with toothpick. Makes 1 large loaf.
  2. If making muffins, scoop batter into greased or paper lined muffin cups. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 to 20 minutes. Makes 18 muffins. Note: This recipe doubles easily. It can also easily be modified to suit the number of bananas you have on hand.
