BLUE CORNBREAD RECIPE
INGREDIENTS
- 1 cup North Frontier Farms organic cornmeal
- 1 cup whole wheat or all-purpose flour
- 2/3 cup sugar
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup milk
- ¼ cup oil or melted butter
Directions
Preheat oven to 3750.
In a large bowl, beat together eggs, milk and oil, mixing well after each addition.
In a separate bowl whisk together dry ingredients and add slowly to liquid mixture. Mix just to combine.
Pour into a greased 8 x 8” pan or cast iron skillet.
Bake at 3750 for about 35 minutes, or until top is slightly golden.
