A mouthwatering way to end a meal or start the day! With fresh peaches, roasted oats and a touch of Roasted Wheat everyone will love this tasty treat!
CRUST
¾ cup flour
¼ cup Cream of the West Roasted Wheat
½ cup brown sugar
½ cup cold butter, cubed
FILLING
3 ½ cups sliced fresh peaches
1 cup sugar
¼ cup corn starch
TOPPING
1 ½ cups Cream of the West Roasted Ranch Oats
½ cup brown sugar
¼ cup flour
5 Tbsp cold butter, cubed
DIRECTIONS
Preheat oven to 350° . In a large bowl combine flour, Roasted Wheat cereal, brown sugar and salt. Cut in butter until mixture is crumbly. Pat into a greased 9x9” baking pan. Bake 15 minutes or until lightly brown.
Add peaches, sugar and cornstarch to a medium saucepan. Bring to a boil and stir until juices are released and slightly thickened. About 5 minutes. Remove from heat and pour over baked crust.
Mix together Roasted Oats, brown sugar and flour. Cut in butter until mixture is crumbly. Sprinkle topping over peach filling. Bake until golden brown and bubbly.
