COWBOY PORRIDGE CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES
- 1 cup shortening
- 2 eggs
- ¾ cup brown sugar
- ¾ cup white sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 2 cups flour
- ½ cup Cream of the West Roasted Wheat
- ½ tsp baking soda
- 1 cup chocolate chips
Combine shortening, eggs, sugars and vanilla in mixing bowl. Mix well.
In a separate bowl mix together flour, baking soda and Cream of the West Roasted Wheat. Add to wet batter and mix well. Stir in chocolate chips.
Drop by spoonful onto cookie sheet.
Bake at 325 degrees for 8 – 10 minutes. Cool on baking rack. Store in airtight container.
