Double Chocolate Spook Cookies
These chocolate cookies will be a welcome treat this fall! Soft, delicious and super easy to make.
INGREDIENTS
- 1 cup butter (softened)
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 2 tsp vanilla
- 2 eggs (at room temperature)
- 2 cups flour
- 1 cup Black or Dutch process cocoa powder
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 2 Tbsp corn starch
- 2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- ½ cup Cream of the West Roasted Wheat
- 1 cup white chocolate chips
- 1 10 oz. bag M&M Halloween colored candies
- Candy eyeballs for decoration
Directions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees and line baking sheets with parchment or silicone baking liners.
Beat butter and sugars on medium speed for about 3 minutes, until light and fluffy. Add vanilla and egg and mix to combine.
In a separate bowl sift together flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, cornstarch, salt, and baking powder. Stir in Cream of the West Roasted Wheat.
Slowly add dry ingredients to wet ingredients and bet to combine to a sticky dough.
Fold in white chocolate chips and 3/4 of M&M's.
Using a cookie scoop, drop cookies onto prepared baking sheets, spacing at least 2 inches apart. Dot tops of cookies with candy eyeballs and additinal M&M's for color.
Bake for 12 minutes. Let cool 5 minutes on cookie sheet and remove to baking racks to finish cooling.
